Interior Design and Fit-Out Company Leads in the Gulf and Beyond

Interior design company leads and fit-out leads for suppliers of materials, furniture, lighting and joinery, plus how designers find new clients: areas in Dubai, Sharjah, Riyadh and Doha, with published emails and phones.

Interior design company leads are a list of interior design studios and fit-out contractors with the business email and phone each one publishes, so a supplier of materials, furniture or lighting can reach the people who specify and buy. Fit-out is the work that turns an empty shell into a finished office, shop, restaurant or clinic, and the companies that do it buy constantly. This guide covers the business types to search, the areas in Dubai, Sharjah, Riyadh and Doha where these firms cluster, the project cycle that decides when they buy, and how designers themselves can use the same method to find new clients.

The short answer

  1. Decide which side you are on: a supplier selling to designers and contractors, or a designer looking for clients.
  2. Search "interior design", "fit-out", "joinery" and the related trades in each industrial and business area.
  3. Keep the published business email and phone, and judge the firm's size from its reviews and website.
  4. For designers, search the business types that open new premises: offices, restaurants, clinics, salons.
  5. Export, contact a short batch by email or phone, and log who is quoting on projects right now.

Who needs interior design company leads and fit-out leads?

Two different groups search for these lists.

Suppliers selling to designers and contractors:

  • Flooring: tiles, stone, engineered wood, carpet and vinyl
  • Lighting, light fittings and controls
  • Furniture, loose and fitted, and office systems
  • Joinery, doors, veneers, laminates and hardware
  • Paint, wall coverings, fabrics and acoustic panels
  • Glass, partitions, ceilings, sanitaryware and kitchens
  • Design software, rendering tools, equipment hire and skilled labour supply

Designers and fit-out contractors looking for clients:

  • Companies moving into new offices
  • New restaurants, cafes and lounges before opening
  • New clinics, dental centres, pharmacies, salons and gyms
  • Retail brands opening a shop or a mall kiosk

Which business types belong on an interior designers list?

Business type What they do Buys from
Interior design studio Concept, drawings, material selection Showrooms, fabric houses, lighting, software
Fit-out contractor Builds the design: partitions, ceilings, MEP, finishes Everything from flooring to glass, plus labour
Design and build firm Design and construction under one contract The full range, often in volume
Joinery and carpentry workshop Fitted furniture, doors, counters Timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, machinery
Furniture showroom Sells loose furniture to designers and the public Manufacturers and importers
Kitchen and wardrobe company Fitted kitchens and wardrobes Boards, hardware, worktops

MEP means mechanical, electrical and plumbing; many fit-out firms carry their own MEP team, and the rest buy it in.

Where are the fit-out companies in Dubai, Sharjah, Riyadh and Doha?

Design studios sit in business districts, and the workshops and contractors sit in industrial areas, so one search needs both kinds of area.

  • Dubai. Al Quoz Industrial Areas 1 to 4 hold the joinery workshops, furniture factories and many fit-out yards. Dubai Design District (d3) and Business Bay hold the design studios. Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai Investments Park, Ras Al Khor and Dubai Silicon Oasis add contractors and showrooms. A fit out companies list for Dubai that skips Al Quoz misses the trade half of the market.
  • Sharjah. The Sharjah Industrial Areas (numbered 1 to 18 and beyond) and Al Sajaa hold a large share of the UAE's joinery, steel and furniture workshops, usually at lower rent than Dubai. Al Nahda and Al Majaz hold the showrooms.
  • Riyadh. Olaya, Al Sulaimaniyah and Al Malqa for studios and showrooms; the Second Industrial City and Al Sulay for workshops and contractors.
  • Doha. West Bay and Al Sadd for studios; the Doha Industrial Area and Salwa Road for workshops and contractors; Lusail and Msheireb for projects under way.

In the UK and Australia, look at the design quarters (Clerkenwell in London, Surry Hills in Sydney) and the trading estates around the ring roads.

When do fit-out companies buy? A note on project cycles

Fit-out work follows a cycle, and knowing it helps you time the first contact.

  1. Lease signed or site handed over. The client appoints a designer. Samples, software and renderings are useful here.
  2. Design and specification. The designer chooses materials and fittings. This is the moment for flooring, lighting and furniture suppliers to be in the sample library.
  3. Tender and award. Contractors price the job and buy at the awarded price. Suppliers with a quick quote win here.
  4. Site work. Joinery, glass, ceilings and finishes are ordered in sequence. Delivery speed matters more than price now.
  5. Handover. The client opens. Signage, furniture top-ups and maintenance contracts start.

In the Gulf, fewer projects start during the hottest summer weeks and the Ramadan period, and many clients want to open before the autumn trading season or before Ramadan. In the UK and Australia, office moves cluster around financial year ends and school holidays. These are general patterns, not rules.

A worked example: a lighting supplier in Dubai

Say you import architectural lighting and open a showroom in Al Quoz. You want the design studios that specify lighting and the contractors that buy it. You search "interior design", "fit-out contractor" and "lighting" in Dubai Design District, Business Bay, Al Quoz and Jumeirah Lakes Towers, then "joinery" and "fit-out" in Sharjah Industrial Areas 10 to 13. For example, 240 rows come back and 190 of them publish an email.

You split the list in two. The design studios get an email offering a sample box and a lunchtime product talk at their office. The contractors get a call to the published number asking who handles procurement, followed by a one-page price list. Within a fortnight you know which five studios have a hotel or restaurant project at the specification stage, and those five are where your time goes.

How to build the list, step by step

  1. Choose your areas from the city's area list: the design districts for studios and the industrial areas for workshops and contractors.
  2. Search each wording in each area. "Interior design", "fit-out", "joinery", "furniture showroom", "kitchen company" and "MEP contractor" are the core set.
  3. Collect the published contacts. The contact page, the about page and the LinkedIn page usually give a projects@ or info@ email and the office phone.
  4. Judge size. Reviews, a project gallery and a team page separate a thirty-person contractor from a two-person studio.
  5. Mark the companies you already know and export two lists: one for email, one for calls and visits.
  6. If you are a designer, repeat the search for your target clients instead: new restaurants in one area, new clinics in another. The restaurant leads guide shows the food side.

Good practice and local rules

Fit-out is a trade, and trade enquiries by email and phone are normal when they are short, about one product, and easy to say no to.

UAE and Qatar. The UAE's TDRA rules and the UAE PDPL expect consent for marketing messages, a clear sender and a free opt-out; Qatar's data protection law has similar expectations. Start with a one-to-one business enquiry, not a bulk send.

Saudi Arabia. The PDPL asks for prior consent before marketing messages and an easy way to withdraw it.

UK. PECR allows B2B marketing email to limited companies with a clear sender and a working opt-out; sole traders and partnerships need consent or a valid soft opt-in.

This is general information, not legal advice; check the current rules for the country you send to.

Where Rovero fits

Rovero is B2B lead generation software for Windows that builds an interior designers list and a fit-out list area by area. You type the business type in your own words and the city, tick the areas, and Rovero works through them one by one, including inside the business centres and towers where studios sit.

For every firm it keeps the name, category, address with building, floor and unit when the listing has them (building, floor and unit), phone numbers, website, rating and reviews, and up to three emails and five extra mobile numbers found on the firm's own site and social pages. Filters hide closed businesses and keep only rows with a website or an email. Lists export to Excel, CSV or a ready-made e-mail marketing list, and each business is checked against everything already saved, so a contractor found in Al Quoz and again in Business Bay appears once (zero duplicates).

The contractor and construction leads guide covers the main contractors and MEP firms one step up the chain. One honest limit: a workshop with no listing and no website will not appear, and in industrial areas that describes some of the smaller joinery shops.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I find interior design company leads in Dubai?

Search the design districts (Dubai Design District, Business Bay, Jumeirah Lakes Towers) for studios and Al Quoz for workshops and contractors, one area at a time. Keep the published email and office phone from each firm's website, and add the Sharjah Industrial Areas if you supply the trade.

What is the difference between an interior designer and a fit-out company?

An interior designer plans the space and chooses the materials; a fit-out company builds it. Many Gulf firms do both under one contract, which is called design and build. For a supplier, the designer specifies your product and the contractor buys it, so both belong on the list.

How do interior designers find new clients?

Search for the businesses that are about to open or move, such as new restaurants, clinics, salons and offices, in the areas where they open. Clinics with few reviews and a brand-new website are often still fitting out. A short email with two relevant project photos works better than a brochure.

When is the best time of year to contact fit-out companies in the Gulf?

The weeks after Ramadan and the start of autumn, when projects restart, are good times for a first contact. Mid-summer and the Ramadan period are quieter, which suits a sample drop or a catalogue rather than a sales call. Ask each firm what is on their board, because every contractor's cycle is different.
